HOUSE RULES OF THE G4 FITNESS CENTER 

(4/b Gizella Street, Debrecen, 4030)

 

The purpose of these House Rules is to define general behaviour rules and requirements for guests staying at the G4 Fitness Center or using its services in order to ensure a high standard of service and provide general information regarding the proper use of the services. 

• By using the services of the G4 Fitness Center, the guest of the G4 Fitness Center accepts, acknowledges and obeys these House Rules at all times. The Operator is entitled to check compliance with the House Rules at any time, and take any necessary comment and measure in connection therewith. These House Rules are available at the premises of the G4 Fitness center (4/b Gizella Street, Debrecen, 4030) and also on the website www.g4fitness.hu.
• The G4 Fitness center is operated by the G4 FITNESS Kft. (headquarters: 93-99 Lajos Street, Building H, 3/5, 1036 Budapest. Company Registration Number: 01 09 410137, hereinafter: Operator). Inquiries  about these House Rules or information related to the operation of the G4 Fitness Center can be requested at, and complaints can be made at the following contact details:

General Rules:

• Guests can use the services of the G4 FITNESS Center solely at their own risk.
• Passes and daily tickets entitle all guests to enter once a day!
  
• The fees for the services of the G4 FITNESS Center must be paid in advance upon entry. Passes can only be used within their validity period, after the expiration date, the value of unused sessions will not be refunded.
• The purchased pass (fitness, group classes) is valid only with the corresponding plastic card. If guests forget their plastic card at home, no entry to the gym is possible. 
  
• Passes purchased at the G4 FITNESS center cannot be transferred to another person. Passes and daily tickets are non-refundable.

• If the guest wishes to receive a refund of the amount loaded onto the virtual account, an administration fee of HUF 2000 must be paid!
  

• The balance topped up with Szép-Card (OTP, MKB, K&H) and AYCM card cannot be converted into cash!

• From 1st January, 2022 reservations for the sports hall, the artificial turf pitch and squash courts can only be released! The reservation fee will only be refunded to the virtual account if someone books the freed time slot!
• The Operator does not take responsibility for items left in the changing room, in lockers or in any other areas of the G4 FITNESS Center.
• Guests are advised no to leave their valuables (e.g. mobile phones or other electronic devices) unattended!
• Guests are entitled to use any sports equipment (e.g. weights, step pads, balls, skipping ropes, rubber mats, etc.) as intended located on the premises of the G4 FITNESS Center.
• The guest must return the sports equipment used to its proper place after use. In case of damage or loss to these items, the guest is financially responsible to the Operator.
• Individuals who are incapacitated, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and who are not allowed in the community, or who have an infectious illness must not visit the G4 FITNESS center.
• Pregnant women may use the services of the G4 FITNESS center solely at their own risk!
• Animals are prohibited from entering or being kept on the premises of the G4 FITNESS center.
• Alcohol consumption and smoking are strictly prohibited throughout the premises of the G4 FITNESS center!
• It is prohibited to bring any hazardous substances (infectious, toxic, flammable, explosive, corrosive, irritant, or otherwise harmful powder, gas, steam, mist or radioactive substance), weapons, stabbing or cutting tools, or any other objects which are considered dangerous by the Operator, drugs, non-narcotic substances with narcotic effects, or alcohol to the premises of the G4 FITNESS center.
• Placement of any decorative or promotional materials (e.g. plants , flyers, advertisements, advertising materials), electronic devices, children’s toys, etc. is only permitted with the prior approval of the Operator. 
• On the premises of the G4 FITNESS center aggressive or violent behaviour that endangers the physical health of others, pushing, fighting, or threatening, as well as  behaviour that disturbs the training of other guests are strictly prohibited.
• Everyone is obliged to use the services of the G4 FITNESS center as intended, without disturbing the peace and workouts of other guests. 
• Everyone is obliged to maintain order and cleanliness on the premises of the G4 FITNESS center.
• The G4 FITNESS center reserves the right to prohibit individuals who violate the House Rules from using its services, and if necessary, to remove them from the premises of the G4 FITNESS center.
• The Operator is entitled to request the help of the police or other authorities in cases that exceed his authority to take actions.
• Guests removed from the premises of the G4 FITNESS center or prohibited from using its services shall not make any claims against the Operator.
• The G4 FITNESS center may only be used wearing appropriate attire (indoor shoes, sportswear) - as required when using the areas of the G4 FITNESS center. 
• Only the sports equipment provided by the G4 FITNESS center may be used in the Fitness Room and in the Gyms; it is prohibited to bring any other sports equipment, as well as fragile (e.g. glass) or sharp objects. Beverages (non-alcoholic beverages, e.g. water soft drinks) can only be brought in plastic bottles.
• Fixtures and equipment placed in wet areas may only be used for their intended purposes, it is prohibited to dispose or place garbage, waste, cloths, sanitary pads, or hazardous materials into drains and toilets.
• Commercial activities, barter, money exchange, selling, advertising, propaganda (placement of advertising boards, stop signs, posters, wall stickers and flyers) distribution of promotional gifts and product samples, sale of consumer goods for any business purposes, insurance brokerage or securities trading activities, illegal gambling and provision of music services are strictly prohibited throughout the premises of the G4 FITNESS center. Any promotional activity throughout the entire premises of the G4 FITNESS center may only be carried out with the prior approval of the Operator. Without the prior approval of the Operator, it is prohibited to make audio, video or photographic recordings on the premises of the G4 FITNESS center or during classes.
• Photos and videos taken at the G4 FITNESS center may be freely used by the G4 Fitness Szolgáltató Kft. for advertising and other communication materials (e.g. giant posters, flyers) therefore, individuals appearing in the photos are not entitled to compensation.
• Throughout the entire premises of the G4 FITNESS center, only personal trainers or instructors who have a contract with the G4 FITNESS Kft may hold personal training, aerobic, and spinning classes.
• After the expiration of the rental period of VIP lockers, the locker will be rented out to someone else. The items inside will be kept for HUF 2000 per day. If the renter does not claim the items within one week, they will be discarded.
• The Operator of the G4 FITNESS center reserves the right to hold closed events on the premises of the G4 FITNESS center, during which period guests are excluded from using the services and areas of the G4 FITNESS center. In such cases, the G4 FITNESS center will notify guests in advance on its website.

Use of the G4 FITNESS Center Facilities 

•  Use of sauna and changing rooms. The G4 FITNESS center provides its guests with gender-separated changing rooms and shower facilities, with dressing lockers in the changing room, shower gel and hair dryer usage, the costs of which are included in the price of tickets and passes. The sauna may only be used in appropriate attire (swimsuit, bath towel). The sauna may only be used at one’s own risk, following the sauna rules posted next to its entrance.

Use of fitness room

• In the Fitness room fitness equipment and machines may only be used for their intended purpose, following the instructions for use of the machines. Guests may use fitness equipment and machines solely at their own risk. When using the machines and equipment, guests must take into consideration their own state of health, fitness level, physique and strength. If you have any questions, please contact a colleague at the G4 FITNESS center for assistance and guidance.
• The services of the Fitness room (cardio machines only) can be used by children aged between 10 - 14 only under the supervision of a parent or a personal trainer.
• The services of the Fitness room can be used by adolescents aged between 14 - 16 only only with a declaration of parental responsibility or under the supervision of a personal trainer. 
• The Fitness room may only be accessed in hygienically appropriate, clean sportswear (trainers, vest, T-shirt, top, sports trousers) which is suitable for the use of sports equipment. If you have any questions regarding the suitability of clothing, please ask our colleague. In the Fitness room street clothes, street shoes, muddy or dirty trainers cannot be worn. In the Fitness room workout is only allowed wearing closed trainers; slippers, sandals, socks, stockings, or bare feet are prohibited!
  
• The use of a towel is mandatory during the use of the Fitness room. In case of incomplete or inappropriate sportswear, a colleague of the G4 FITNESS center is authorised to ask the guest to wear appropriate attire; in the case of  an unsuccessful request, the guest may be banned from using the Fitness room.
• The Fitness room may be used without disturbing other guests, or making loud noises.
• After using the fitness equipment and machines, they must be returned to their original place and the machines must be set to their default position.
• Improper use of fitness equipment and machines may be a risk of accident, and our colleagues at the G4 FITNESS center are ready to assist guests with any questions.
• Improper use of fitness equipment and machines, dropping or throwing of machines or weights is strictly prohibited!
• Furthermore, any behaviour endangering oneself or others is strictly prohibited!
• The aerobic, spinning and yoga rooms may only be accessed in hygienically appropriate, clean sportswear (trainers, vest, T-shirt, top, sports trousers). Street clothes, street shoes, muddy or dirty trainers cannot be worn. In the spinning room workout is only allowed wearing closed trainers or cycling shoes!
• During training sessions in the spinning and/or aerobic rooms, the noise level may exceed 80dB, and as a result, hearing damage may occur based on individual sensitivity. In this case, the guest must take care of their own protective equipment, such as hearing protection, noise-cancelling headphones, or earplugs!
• In the classes, each guest participates solely at their own risk and in suitable health condition. Guests who are drunk or intoxicated, suffering from an infectious disease, sick, or having a fever are not allowed to participate in the classes. Pregnant women are advised to seek the instructor’s opinion regarding participation; however, pregnant guests may participate in the classes solely according to their own decision and at their own risk.
• During personal training sessions and group classes, the personal trainer / class instructor assumes responsibility for the physical health and safety of the participating guests at all times.

Data processing

The Operator DEBRECENI FITNESS Kft. (headquarters: 1036 Budapest, Lajos utca 93-99. H building 3/5. Company Registration Number: 01 09 410 137 hereinafter: Data Controller) processes the personal data and images provided by the guest during registration in accordance with the provisions of Act CXII of 2011 on Information Self-Determination and Freedom of Information for a period of 5 years from the provision of data - until receipt of a prohibition statement, or if the guest has given express consent, for a further specified period - without any additional compensation or authorisation for its own marketing activities, for the purpose of direct marketing. Upon expiration of the data processing period or within 30 days of receipt of a request for data deletion, the Data Controller deletes personal data from its records. Upon request, the Data Controller provides information about the processing of data at any time.The guest is entitled to object to the processing of their personal data. If the guest disagrees with the decision of the Data Controller made based on their objection, they may appeal to the court or the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. The data processing has been reported to the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, and the issuance of the data processing registration number is in progress. 

What to do in emergency events, when a fire alarm or a bomb alarm is detected.

• Fire alarm or bomb alarm. In the event of a fire alarm or bomb alarm, sport activities, use of wellness or other services must be terminated immediately, and the premises must be left. Elevators do not operate in emergency situations. The nearest exit must be used to leave the building, following the escape route indicated by emergency lights. Reentry to the building is only permitted after the emergency situation has passed, with the permission of the security service.
• Extraordinary event, accident. Any event or circumstance is considered an extraordinary event that is significantly different from the average, which endangers the lives, physical integrity of persons present at the G4 FITNESS center, or leads to serious consequences in terms of the tangible assets of the G4 FITNESS center, or threatens this with actual danger, or causes significant disruption to the operation to the G4 FITNESS center.

  • criminal  offence committed by or against employees or guests of the G4 FITNESS center, or attempts of thereof;
  • intentional and violent interference with the G4 FITNESS center, its facilities, or equipment, or attempts of thereof;
  • accidents resulting in death, or serious personal injury;
  • extraordinary power outages or operational failures;
  • natural disasters.

Upon detection of an extraordinary event, the receptionist must be immediately notified, as well as the competent authorities at the following telephone numbers:

If our guests notice any damage or accident that occurs on the premises of the G4 FITNESS center, they must immediately notify the receptionist on duty - who will record the incident - in order to take appropriate action.

 Opening Hours

The services of the G4 FITNESS center can only be used during opening hours. Guests using the services of the G4 FITNESS center must respect the opening hours and leave the premises by the closing time. 

Opening hours of the G4 FITNESS center:

Monday - Friday: 06:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Saturday - Sunday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Liability

• Guests at the G4 FITNESS center may only use its services at their own risk. The G4 FITNESS center excludes liability for damages resulting from the use of its services or the use of its sports equipment, unless the exclusion or limitation of liability is expressly excluded by law. 
• The services provided by the G4 FITNESS center can only be used by guests who have a valid daily ticket or pass, otherwise they commit a property offence according to § 370 of the Criminal Code related to theft. In addition to the offence, the Operator obliges the perpetrator to pay the missed amount. 
• The G4 FITNESS center does not assume responsibility for damages occurring on the premises of the G4 FITNESS center due to the violation of the House Rules, especially for losses, thefts, or damages to valuables. 
• In case of damage or loss of sports equipment used by the guest, and owned by the G4 FITNESS center, the guest is financially responsible to the Operator.
• The G4 FITNESS center reserves the right to limit or exclude the use of its services by means of a verbal or written statement, or to refuse the sale of a daily ticket or pass if it considers that the behaviour, conduct or any action of the particular person is contrary to the interests or values of the Center. The person using the service accepts it and acknowledges that the G4 FITNESS center can exercise this right unilaterally.

• Everyone is obliged to maintain order and cleanliness on the premises of the G4 FITNESS 2.0. The G4 FITNESS 2.0 reserves the right to prohibit individuals who violate the House Rules from using its services, and if necessary, to remove them from the premises of the G4 FITNESS 2.0.
